Positives:
We loved our room, especially the pillows.!! Love the view, the cleanliness. The staff were amazing. We had a great brunch at Vista 18 as well.
Negatives:
I would really prefer to have an hour in the evening at the pool for adults only. I always come with my family and obviously take the kids to the pool it's one of the reasons why we stay there. It would just be more enjoyable ti have some peaceful time to unwind.

Positives:
The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to various restaurants, shopping, parks, and tourist attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Although it is an older building, showing some signs of its age, it was clean and nicely renovated. The pool was a comfortable temperature.
Negatives:
The room we were in (standard room with two queens) was a tad small, but since we were only really in the room to sleep, it did the trick. There were a few additional fees (although maybe this is standard with booking sites), such as $20/night for parking and $25/night for pet. It would be nice to know the total price upon booking, but a minor complaint over all.

Positives:
friendly staff,
we’re helpful when I forgot something in the room and had to come back for it they had it ready to go
Negatives:
the view was of the venting, beds were felt crammed into the room and could hear the sound of Laundry running. when I spoke to the desk they first offices me drink vouchers but I was with my teen daughter, then a food voucher for their restaurant but it wouldn’t suit what my daughter eats. upon arrival from a town visit they had upgraded to a higher room . it was more about the venting and the the laundry. I feel they should have in the description that’s it’s a limited view property or something similar . I wasn’t expecting the best view but the view of the venting and roof below made me uncomfortable . along with the sound of the washer and dryer.

Positives:
The 1 bedroom suite was very nice and comfortable. Pillows were great and loved the shower and balcony. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and Clive's lounge.
Negatives:
The older building is not as soundproof so early am (7 30 is) woke up to loud construction down the street. Would be nice to have complimentary parking in included with stay. Also elevators can be slow. Could use some softer pillow top beds.

Positives:
We loved the hotel services and friendly happy staff! We used the valet parking--got luggage service at check in and check out--the valet used a luggage cart and took it to our room for us. Our teen kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub more than once a day since its open early until 10pm, the front desk brought up new robes for them because they had theirs all wet from the pool time, it was so nice to have that supplied for the guests during the stay, it was a simple call to ask for some extra towels, they were brought up quickly. Our family had breakfast by room service at first for the convenience, and then the next day because YUM! (the best eggs benny!). We used the free shuttle service to get to an appointment downtown saving time and funds for parking. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains and ocean as a backdrop to the city (we had the 3 bedroom suite 1603). The beds in the suite were comfy and the rooms were lovely, the balcony was large and spacious, it had a lock so that was good to know for those who have small kids. We had a drink at the rooftop restaurant, but didn't stay for the food because it was pricey and had strange ingredients I didn't want to risk trying for its cost ($30+), its a great view, and had a lovely time regardless of not eating there. Oh, and the housekeeping staff were so creative with making the kids beds, by fluffing up their stuffies and arranging them on the bed in a nice way :) Made us all smile!
We used all the services at the hotel and was so glad we did because it felt like a mini vacation. Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay--we will remember our trip fondly, Thank you!
Negatives:
We very much enjoyed our stay. It is not really "what I didn't like," its more about suggestions for making it better than it was--because the hotel and staff demeanor as professional and polite exceeded my expectations! I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs time to relax and enjoy their trip.
1. Pets. I passed a few guests who had dogs on the property, which isn’t good for those who have serious medical reactions to dog dander and saliva. Accommodating this can be done by providing an entrance and elevator for guests with animals that other guests do not use and cannot come into contact with.
2. Pull-out sofa is lumpy. I think maybe a new mattress is needed, it is not comfy for adults to sleep in, but it maybe ok for little kids who don't weigh too much.
3. We chose the 2 bedroom suite to accommodate six, however we couldn’t all eat at the table together. Perhaps a folding table with a leaf would be good for that space?
