Lovely Victoria
Positives:
We loved the location and the beautiful grounds of the property. We also loved the service in bar as well as the window view.
Negatives:
At check in, we were given a handicap room which we did not request and the water in the shower drained out into the bathroom area. I called the front desk and we were moved to a different room. Also, the bell desk directed us to the wrong elevators to get to floor 2 and we walked around several hallways to finally reach our room.

Beautiful historical hotel within walking distance to many downtown Victoria attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful and rooms are clean and well furnished.

I know it is a higher end hotel but the prices do seem a bit high but I can not say how it compares to other hotels in the area.

The cost was out of reach for most. We celebrated a big anniversary and updated to Gold, but did not really find that worth the cost and were not really clear on what benefits it really included. We were unable to utilize most of those offered for such limited times available.
