I would stay another time...
Positives:
staff were very friendly, courteous, and professional. my brother and i arrived separately and they confirmed with me that i knew him before allowing him access to the room, this is an excellent security measure. staff were prompt with unlocking the vestibule to the main entrance and recognizing guests to allow them back in. I hope the front desk staff are properly compensated for having to perform these extra security measures.
Negatives:
we were not allowed to park our uhaul trailer in the spacious well lit and video surveilled parking lot and instead we were told to park by the bar and drive through liquor window. this did not provide peace of mind, given the rough neighbourhood.
there was noise from the street and surrounding rooms. multiple groups of guests were fighting and/or partying and several different dogs could be heard barking down the hallways. the ice machine was loud and could be heard at the opposite end of the building. there was no elevator to the second floor and the staircase is narrow.
the fridge quit overnight and our food spoiled.
