Friendly staff. Room was small but decent for a short stay. A bit far to walk downtown but there are a few

The heating system (which is also the air conditioner) was very loud. Had to turn it off to sleep in the middle of winter. Not sure if this is the same in all rooms or I just had an older room.

Lack of knowledge or information regarding room. We had stairs very close to our room that lead outside..we were never advised of this option to bring our luggage in except to lug it around the entire hotel and up 2 flights of stairs.
No instructions on jacuzzi, it runs after it's empty i assume to expel remaining water and it scared the crap out of us. Also no details on what the controls meant.
Room was cold, maybe due to it being close to the emergency exit and stairs to the basement, heat should be higher in that room during cold winter days.
We were also not given any details as to where we could park, which was abnormal to us. Room was missing any information like pool hours, breakfast info, check out times, etc. Every place we have stayed has a small binder.
Lastly we went for breakfast well before checkout time...we came back to our room door being opened and left unlocked. We had not checked out yet. Please ensure your customers know what is required to not have a maid unlock their room without their knowledge or consent.

The price and location. Clean rooms. the breakfast had lots of choices. I have no dislikes.. If you want more, you will pay more. I've stay here 3 times now, and will be back, when necessary.
Negatives:
The only thing I can pick at, is the heating/cooling unit. It kicks on and off every 45 seconds or so. being a lite sleeper was a small pain. I could have turned it off, but thought the noise was worth keeping it warm..
