Negatives: THE ROOM WAS DIRTY. THE CARPET WAS SO OLD IT HAD VARIOUS PULLS OF THE MATERIAL. THE BED WAS SO LUMPY, IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. THE KLEENEX AND TOILET PAPER WERE SO CHEAP AND FLIMSY. THE TOWELS WERE SO OLD THEY COULD BE USED TO CLEAN THE PLACE. IT IS THE ONLY HOLIDAY INN THAT DID NOT INCLUDE A BREKFAST IN CANADA. PARKING WAS CHARGED FOR! THE CLERK AT THE DESK WAS NOT FRIENDLY AND RUDE WHEN I MENTIONED THE LACK OF BREAKFAST. I CERTAINLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Positives: The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of food lots of options. The staff was so friendly and it was a very clean hotel.

Negatives: Between 1230 at night and 3 o’clock in the morning there were people running up and down the hallways going from one room to another room, slamming doors and being extremely loud. A lot of laughter, a lot of loud talking when others were trying to sleep. Next time I will ask for a room on the top level away from people so that I could sleep better.

Positives: The food, service and friendliness of staff at the Eave were outstanding! All three of us (professional woman 43, retired women --70 and 80) were very impressed. I appreciated the grab bar in the tub. We liked the little nook with the table and chairs in the rooms; we had two rooms. Great fridge in the room; lots of room for juice, leftovers, etc.

Negatives: Heating system was noisy. Noise in corridor and party room after 10 both nights we were there. A hand shower and microwave would have been appreciated. The tub had two dings in it so did not look very inviting. Paper copies of hotel and local information as well as menus in the room would have been appreciated.

Positives: Good location, excellent pool / waterslide for the kids. We were allowed to use the pool early which was nice, prior to check in.

Negatives: We had to wait nearly an hour in line to check in - partly outside and in the cold, and with young kids - because they couldn't accommodate early check in and everyone had to check in at 4pm. There were only 2 staff checking in dozens of people. There should have been more staff available, especially with a busy hockey weekend anticipated. This delay ruined a lot of people's evening and dinner plans. Our room was nice but right next to the electrical room and had to listen to the elevators run up and down all night.
