Room was spotless and beds were some of the best we've experienced. Shout out to the staff everyone was super friendly. Lobby was under construction but did not affect our stay at all

Our GPS told us to turn into the out only. You have to turn into the Canadian tire plaza to get to the hotel from the main street out front

The property was well-located and very clean. Although there was some construction underway, it was not disruptive. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Negatives:
There was no elevator, and while the building is only two floors, carrying a lot of luggage could be inconvenient. My room still had the older heating and air conditioning unit, which was quite loud. Fortunately, the weather was cool enough that I could turn it off.

David and I would like to thank Rob the front desk supervisor for his kindness and understanding. We had to cancel due to a sudden mental health crisis in our family and he validated our feelings with his thoughtful words and diminished our guilt and discomfort of having to cancel last minute. It would be very special if some of the medical staff with whom we have dealt had the same presence of mind as Rob. Many thanks Rob and should we require a hotel in future in your area

The location and free parking were good. Wifi was okay. Though much of the parking lot was taken up my construction materials so I had to park in the electric car charging area.
Negatives:
The hotel was under construction which they didn’t tell me before arriving and it was 11pm when I got in, so too late to start looking around for an alternative. There were construction materials and large debris all over the stair and each hallway I had to walk down, even though there were only two construction workers working. Then they were tearing out the carpet outside my room door until at least 3am. It was really disruptive and walking through the hotel was dangerous. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed and I had to hold it shut while showering. It was also badly installed and water leaked under the door frame so I had to clean up the bathroom floor.
My duvet didn’t have a cover and had a really bad BO smell, along with 3/5 of the pillows. I don’t think they washed them between guests. As a woman travelling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable walking back through the construction crew to the front desk to have them changed in the middle of the night. But the smells and sounds were horrible.
The AC was insanely loud.
I wish the hotel had been more transparent that I would be trying to sleep in a construction zone. The $200+ per night fee did not reflect the quality and cleanliness.

The staff on the phone was easy to talk to, helpful, and very accommodating. The staff on site was excellent, helpful and really friendly despite the renovation going on.

I would suggest cleaning the heater/AC unit in the room because the vents were very dusty.
