Extra charge for fridge in room and only microwave was in lobby, if you wanted housekeeping you had to give 24 hour notice and there was bad lighting in the hallway of the third floor I was on

I felt very comfortable there. I reserved the room again. I had been there a few times and I made a reservation like i always do. I arrived and paid the young lady at the front desk She gave me the card to get into my room. The key card did not work when i went to the room and the door did not open. I went back to the front desk. The young lady told me i was on the managers personal list to not be allowed shelter here. He has barred me from that location. Because I play music too loud???? I was never told by any staff member there that my music was too loud. If my music was too loud, I would immediately turn the volume down. NOT ONE PERSON, NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER EVER came to my room or called me to tell me to turn the music down. I feel very bad if I made any guests uncomfortable but I don't understand why staff there did not tell me to turn the music down and now I am barred from there because of loud music. I don't understand I'm very, very upset about that. Why did they accept my reservation, my money and my time. I was left in a very bad situation. And i was also harrassed by a guest there, to the point where he was evicted as far as i know

About the only good thing here was the location.
Negatives:
I am not a picky person when it comes to hotels. I stay in them regularly, and I always say that as long as it has clean sheets and warm water, I will be ok. Well, this met that standard, but was definitely not anything more. If you were to compare this hotel to any other standard chain hotel, it is very much bottom of the list. It just seems like they do not care about the quality of the cleanliness of any shared spaces, and overlook plenty of the small repairs that need attention. Things like small holes/dents in walls, chipped counters, dated fridges and furniture, and low quality TVs are an example of areas where this hotel could improve. It did the job, and there was nothing critical that would prevent me from staying there again if I am not able to find a better value option, but it was very far from being in the same quality as even a Comfort Inn or Days Inn.
