We were up graded to a room with a jacuzzi tub because it was our 50 wedding anniversary.

I requested handicapped room. As I can’t do stairs. All rooms have 10 inch step entry plus outside stairs
No shower rails/ I was there since Monday at 5:30 PM 29th of September 2025. They are a part of Wyndham and yet there are no railings in the shower. Therefore I couldn’t have a shower. I arrived Monday, 29th of September stayed until Wednesday 7 AM without a shower upon arriving at the hotel. I took a spin around the building when I specifically ask the question in an email to the motel stating please no stairs I cannot do them upon arriving at the motel, I took a drive around. There are no rooms without at least one step most of them have two and three steps to get up to the level of the room and then there is a 10 inch step to enter the room when I address this with the front desk clerk, I was told I don’t want any attitude. I can refund your money and you can go elsewhere. Well I just drove for 5 1/2 hours to do the boat castle the next day and was tired travelling with a service dog.
I was put in room 111 with a 10 inch step and a 3 inch step up to the room with two chairs in my way when I was trying to get into the room with a travel buggy so that I could charge it for the following day
This, the fact that they do not and are not handicap, accessible should be put on their website and Wyndham has been made aware because they are affiliated with Wyndham hotels
Also should not say they can accommodate and can’t I waited until I got home which is another 5 1/2 hour drive to Barrie Ontario from Gannon Way in order to have a shower

Disappointing after numerous emails back-and-forth with this motel

My stay was very good. The room was a good deal as well as very clean and l had a comfortable sleep. Complimentary breakfast was basic but the items, muffins, yogurt and snack bars and beverages were all top quality and a good deal for what l payed and for starting the day .

Staff and clean beds were good but that’s where it ended.

Room and complex totally falling apart. Very poor maintenance every where. Shower hot and cold reversed. Front door had be kicked in and very poorly repaired. Whole place in and out hasn’t seen a coat paint in a long while. The Wyndham name obviously doesn’t have a high standard.
