Days Inn by Wyndham Guelph

Negatives: The rooms are old and not well mantained. They have a weird smell. We were given a room that the bathtup was in really bad shape. We asked for a new room and the staff was really accomodating and gave us a new one. The second room was better but still far from the expectations that you will have for a room that cost that much money. There is not enough room in the breakfast area for the guest. Maybe there is 15 seats all toghether.

Negatives: Very expensive for what is received. "Guests" who seemed to constantly be out front. Two even asked if I had cigarettes! Go out, smoke, and chat with a friend, but if ppl are going to linger, AKA loiter out there, they need to move from out front to the end of the lot. It's really creepy! Hallways are a bit smelly. It wasn't overbearing, but...

Negatives: The lack of landscaping gave a bad first impression. Over run with weeds

Negatives: Bathroom, adequate but outdated. Sink rusted around drain. Fite alarm woke us at 0215 a.m. Hotel was evacuated but little information was shared over next 3 hours outside in our night clothes. 7 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, a field medical station, 3 police cars and a city bus were disptched. We were allowed back in at 5.30 am. Again with no explanation or apology for disruption of sleep.. The biggest thing; upon checking out not one word was offered regarding the truly horrible experience. Very disappointing.

Negatives: Housekeeping walked in without knocking or checking that we had asked for later check out Carpets were stained in a few spots Not enough outlets or usb. Had to keep unplugging things to charge phones and iPads

Negatives: Everything. The bedroom smelt of stale tobacco smoke , the walls were daubed with white paint, the window could not be opened and the air conditioning smelt bad and was very noisy. The breakfast was what you would expect in a hostel. And the price was very expensive for what it was. There was no bar or restaurant.
