Breakfast was great. My wife really like the exercise room.

When we arrived at room 807 the refrigerator was warm and not on. We called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance guy. He said he knew the problem with that refrigerator and plugged it and brought to pieces of wood to put behind it. To keep it from unplugging. Thr last night I made dinner in the room, loaded the dish washer and noticed other dishes and glasses there from previous people. I put the soap in and went to start the washer and it didn't work. I told the front desk. I never had this issue before. We stayed at a Homewood Suites for 7 weeks 8 years ago as our house was getting repaired. It was amazing.

Positives:
The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had (kitchen nicer than my own) and I loved that it was not on the main level by the lobby. The staff seemed present and content. The room was well designed. They seemed to anticipate your questions before you even arrived. The pool was open late and the late check out was fabulous. It was so clean and fresh inside. Signage was clear for parking.

Could have had more info upfront about the check out process (basically that nothing is needed!).

Positives:
I travel a lot around Ontario and Quebec. Ive been to hotels that have a poor excuse for "breakfast included" . This far exceeded my personal expactations for a buffet breakfast. the eating area was kept extremely clean, the staff was friendly and the food was great. Also at 3am when i was coming in I stopped by the front desk to let them know we are out of complimentary lotion. by the time we got to our room there was a gentleman 10 paces behind us.... with lotion in his hand, at 3am. that is good service
Negatives:
one of the elivators was down so sometimes we would be waiting quite a while to go downstairs but that was no fault of the hotel. by the time we were leaving after our 2 day stay the elivator was working. so it showed me they stayed on top of it.
