The room looked like it had been cleaned (quickly) before I arrived.
Negatives:
There is definitely no money or care being put into this building. Light fixtures in the room were broken, wallpaper was peeling in several spots, the smoke alarm was hanging open on the ceiling, there were cigarette burns in my sheets, there were white stains all over the carpet, blue tarps lined the hallway on the floor. I see that repairs don't want to be made of any kind which is disappointing, but what I really hated was the dust everywhere, which showed that the place isn't cleaned any more than a quick tidy up before you check in. The owner can't even blame the staff for the state of the building. You could tell these things had been broken for a very long time.
