Some of the rooms we booked were unavailable due to maintenance issue so the manager on duty showed us similar options and offered free breakfast.

We were told that we could go and use the pool, but when we got there we were told that we needed a reservation, but she would let us go now. Pool was not like the picture and it was being used for swimming lessons so we couldn’t get in or even use the few lounge chairs that were there. Hot tub was broken as well.

Positives:
The gym, which is run separately by the Unionville Athletic Club, is a very complete, albeit no frills gym. Great for people serious about getting a good workout in.
Negatives:
I won’t get into all the details, but I did somehow to stay in three different suites during my stay due to various issues. The last room we stayed in had myriad problems, but we were just tired of moving around with two young kids.
All three rooms showed lots of wear and tear. The carpeting in the bedrooms were dingy and stained and one wouldn’t feel comfortable going barefoot on them. One of the rooms had washroom doors that didn’t close properly with mirror lights that did not function. One of the bedrooms had a chest of drawers whose drawers kept opening on their own.
The worst of the problems was our first room, 1211, that started to have a water leak from the ceiling above the kitchen sink area. The leak was next to the lighting rack on the ceiling which was concerning because of the electrical wiring. The leak was bad enough that staying in the room was untenable - which the manager himself agreed with at that time. The leak occurred in the middle of the night with both my kids sleeping, and it was highly disruptive to our plans the following day as well.
After some back and forth regarding compensation for this deep inconvenience, we settled upon 30,000 Hilton Honors points as compensation at the end of July, 2025. To date, September 16, 2025, I still have not been credited with these points. I have, via email, from Arjun Mehra - one of the managers of the property - the agreement for the 30,000 points. I asked for updates a few times, to which he would say “give it a few days”; “give it another 5-7 business days”; and now, he’s ignored my most recent email asking for an update. It appears he’s reneging on his own promise to credit these Hilton Honors points.
This is deeply disappointing and to be honest, jaw dropping in the deception and rope-a-doping. To Arjun Mehra, the promise of points was all a game to just buy some time and delay and to hope this would all be forgotten and swept under the rug. I cannot believe that this is a Hilton property.
