DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Airport West

Negatives: Everything. For the cost, the room was dirty, the bed was stained, there were hairs all throughout the showers and sink. And all the manager did to remedy this was provide room and breakfast. For almost $300 that is exceptionally unacceptable.

Negatives: The shuttle service was not accommodating for our large group. I called when we got off the plan (9:00 PM) to let them know we will need the shuttle, the fella said to call him when we have our luggage. I called him (9:15 PM)to let him know we had our luggage and he asked how many in our group, I advised 11. He said it would be about 15 min. We had 6 adults (1 was a diabetic) and 5 children. Once you exit the Toronto Airport, you may not go back in. Our Diabetic gal's sugar started to drop and we had to ask the security guard if we could get something to bring her sugar up. Fortunately, they allowed one of our party to go back into the airport and get a juice for her. It was about 45 degrees and since we were coming back from Aruba, most of the party was in shorts. The children were freezing and tired. 45 min later, still no shuttle. I called again, he said he was on his way and will be there in 5 min. An hour after my initial call, he came to the airport with a van full of people and we had 11 in our party. He said he could take 4 of us at this time. So, a couple of our people went back to the hotel in the shuttle to get our vehicles. So we waited another 45 min for our vehicles to come and pick us up. That Shuttle van NEVER SHOWED BACK UP. When we got to the hotel, we were tired and upset. The Hotel clerks said they would speak to the manager and offered us a warm cookie. The next morning, I spoke with the hotel management, He basically just listened to my complaint and said he was sorry that happened. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!

Negatives: They provided us with the wrong room and they were not security guard in parking lot

Negatives: I wish there were streaming services available

Negatives: On reception I was charged twice. It's been month already and I still didn't get me refund.

Negatives: Bar open earlier than 5 pm. Nothing to do or see in the neighbourhood but this did not concern us with one night stay.

Negatives: No access to streaming (could not plug in laptop into TV) because a contract had ended. This will greatly affect future guests who want to enjoy a relaxing stay. No bathroom fan either and paid parking was also a downside.

Negatives: I didn’t like the reception attitude. Worst service. No shower gel. I called the receiption. They told to come to reception to collect dental kit , shower gel. After 3 hours they brought to my room…

Negatives: difficult to find parking

Negatives: There was nothing untoward during my stay. I can’t say that I didn’t like anything.
