There are so many choices of hotels in Niagara and not all descriptions are clear whether a falls view is included. This makes it tricky to really understand what view you will have.
So, I chose a room with no view based on cost and that we would be out and about most of the day and would see the falls from many angles (I was also travelling for 8 weeks so costs had to be weighed against other opportunities).
On arrival we were upgraded complimentary. We received a lower-level floor with partial view of the falls and it was greatly appreciated. The two days we were there were cloudy, rainy and misty and the view wasn't clear (so in hindsight I'm happy we didn't pay extra for a view).
But it's all about luck and timing.....
The location of this hotel is slightly out of the way, but not anything to stress about. The bus does stop outside, I think every 20-30 minutes. But it's walkable down to the falls and then you either walk or take the Wego Bus.
The room was large enough with two double beds and room for us to leave two large suitcases open and still be able to walk around easily. The beds were comfortable.
The bathroom and shower were great.
There was a coffee maker in the room (yay).
But to be honest we didn't spend much time in the room!!
Staff were lovely.
I think my decision to stay at the same hotel would be based on cost at the time of booking. There's so much choice. But if a friend told me they'd booked a room for us at this hotel, I wouldn't be unhappy.

Our concierge Freddy was amazing! I made a mistake and booked the wrong dates and he was able to change it to the right dates at the same price! Absolutely amazing service.

The hot tub is not hot. It has the jets but it is the same temperature as the pool.
