I could smell marijuana before I even opened our door to room 139. I have a lung condition and asthma so for a room that was supposed to be SMOKE free it wasn’t very ideal. I found the receptionist doing laundry because they were short staffed I think her name was Shauna and she was LOVELY but they were completely booked and couldn’t move us to another room.
Shawna looked so busy that i asked her for cleaner and spray so that I could try to do something with the room. Totally NOT her fault thee were handprints all over the wood headboard and the ice bucket and coffee maker were not cleaned so we didn’t use either. We’ve stayed here several times in previous years but I have to say torn wall paper and a microwave that was discoloured and looked as old as the hills wasn’t very inviting.

The staff is what makes this property great.
Extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted immediately and both the lady and gentleman at the front desk were super sweet. You don't see this everyday so it was so nice to be welcomed with a smile.
Negatives:
It's a little dated. Beds are small, length wise. I'm not very tall and I still found it to be short. The tub was hard to turn on: very stiff. However if you just need a place to sleep the pillows are super comfy!
