mold in bathroom, very uncomfortable beds, housekeeping had a bunch of dirty sheets piled up in the hallway outside the elevator for 2 days, overall the property needs a ton of work and a good clean

The place is located well for my purposes. The place is relatively quiet, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.
Negatives:
I've stayed here since 2016, and the elliptical machine in the gym has had an 'out of order' sign on it for 9 years. The place needs to be maintained. The breakfast is very basic and repetitive, the overall clenliness of the property needs improvement, and as guests, we shouldn't have to ask that our room is cleaned and towels/coffee is replaced every single day.

I didn’t like the fact that they put a $200 hold on my credit card and won’t go back on my credit card for 7-10 business days. I’ve stayed in many hotels and haven’t had this happen before.

I found a hair in the eggs...so gross!
Negatives:
We got in the room. The valance had fallen during the previous occupant's stay. It was in the corner of the room, by the bed. There was a fan in the bathroom that kept us awake most of the night. On the second day, the cleaner came in. The valance disappeared but the bed was barely made. We met a cleaner in the hall, never greeted us, just looked away. Very, very disappointed
