Negatives: The day we were leaving, we received a late checkout, 11:50 am. We had an abrupt woman, with a red sweater on, bang on our door, we were packing up. The bang was so loud, our daughter across the hall thought we were knocking on her door! She asked why we had a don not knock sign on our door, I had explained that we had requested a late checkout & that we were actually just about to leave. Her reply was ‘no you don’t, you’re not on the list’, I said yes, we have rented 2 rooms, she said no again, that we only have 1 with late checkout, this was at 11:35 am. She wasn’t from the front desk, so I am assuming she was possibly a manager of housekeeping. As we were closing the door, we had told the gentleman that was just finishing with the room across from us, that we were leaving, so he can do ours next.

Negatives: Needs better sound proofing. I could hear people peeing on other floors. As well, the last night was non-stop banging, like from a bed frame hitting the wall, from an upper room which kept us up all night. Which sucked having to do a long distance drive the next morning in winter weather. I’ve never had that experience at a hotel. As well, the toilet after flushing would make a loud noise for 10 minutes while refilling. And as much as the sliding farm style door for the bathroom is nice, it was very loud so going to the washroom at night you would wake everyone in the room up sliding that door.

Negatives: Breakfast was less than expected

Negatives: Although room was same category as we booked it was for disabled and on first floor very near breakfast area so quite noisy and not exactly as we booked. Had issues with access to pool and no towels available although was eventually resolved. Bed was not clean with clear evidence of stains, dirt and hair on sheets. When we called reception their first answer was that house keeping was gone so there was nothing they could really do (offered us an extra flat sheet for us to put on ourselves to cover the dirty one). Only after repeatedly complaining that someone paying a premium room price should not be treated like this did they eventually find someone who was willing to change our sheets.

Negatives: Maybe the only thing was that there wasnt much right around there as far as restaurants. We had to get in the car and drive to get something outside of the hotel.

Negatives: Arrived at 5 to find the room not quite cleaned yet and wasn't told rooms were only restocked every other day. However staff were very accommodating/ helpful with both concerns
