Staff was very kind. Historic and beautiful hotel.

Had to request a room change as first one was subject to stair and elevator noise, and not cleaned. New room was much nicer but we had to wait in lobby for hours for it.

The rooms are quite old, and the hotel offers very few dining options. The menu is limited and overpriced. The pool was also cold, which felt uncomfortable for the fall-to-winter transition period. I understand that the hotel has historical value, but an interior renovation — while preserving its classic style — would help reflect the same elegance and charm seen from the outside.

I was able to check in 4 hours earlier which was amazing! Very comfortable bed. 2 complimentary waters in the room. Porter welcoming you out of taxi & at front door is a wonderful touch. Café in the hotel very handy.

I requested a quiet room & was given an interconnecting room,yes the connecting door is locked but obviously you hear everything so it was the opposite of my request.
For €174 for one night,breakfast should definitely be included. The main light in the room was over the hallway and not over the bed/dresser area which makes no sense,locker lamps aren't the same thing, I had to turn on the torch on my phone. There was water left in the normal kettle,this should be cleaned out+dried before next check in.

The facilities, especially the room, were disappointing. The elevator door was broken and made noise all night. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, the shelves were unstable and anything we placed on them kept falling. The overall interior felt very old and far past its prime.

We stayed at floor 6 just beside the elevator but I wrote before we arrived that we maybe could get a room fare away from the elevator. Anyway this wasn’t my problem, the problem was that I couldn’t find any sleep at night because there was so much traffic our window where to the main road and also on floor 6 this was very very loud. When you pay 470 CD for 1 night then I think you should be able to sleep.
I would like to do a reservation for breakfast for the next day for 3people but the restaurant said to me that’s just walk in basis they are not taking any reservations. I think for a hotel guest you should be able to get a table for breakfast and this would be better when you could do a reservation this was very disappointing because of this we went to a other place for breakfast . Our view from our room was to a construction side, and the fire alarm over our bed was always blinking.
