The location is excellent for being downtown. The modern suites were a better choice for this trip. Although there are 2 types of rooms to select from, the renovated rooms are a better value.
Negatives:
There were no issues with our room and the hotel staff were very helpful.

Stayed here several times in the past 3 months. This time was given an outdated suite as compared to the newer suites. T
Positives:
One thing that I enjoy about the property is that I feel safe. People need a key card to access the property and use the elevator. There is also someone at the front desk at all time. This is the first time we Parked our vehicle on the property and it was very easy to get in and out of the garage.
In addition, one of the highlights of the property is the apartment size suites. It makes traveling easy.
Negatives:
This is our second time staying at the property. This time we were on the 19th floor. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable. It was a lot harder than the first time we stayed at the property. Also the bed sheets were stiff and cheaply made. Again not the same experience we had the first time we stayed at the hotel.
A few other things to note - fridge was leaking somewhere inside, always had to clean up the water; ants were found in the bathroom and only the bathroom. Which we couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Lastly, in our kitchen we had no dishwasher pods to do the dishes. We requested some be put in our room but when we didn’t receive any we ended up going to one of the ladies who had a cart to retrieve some.

Property is in an excellent location for participation in girls volleyball at the University of
Unfortunately I got a classic King which was classic 70’s very very dated. Renovations are to come. Apparently if I had booked a modern it would have already been renovated. I would gladly have booked it had I known.
Also Tesla charging was a big deal as staff not as informed as should be.
Will go back after renovations

A nice coffee open long hours and serving a wide variety of meals downstairs (it does not belong tot he hotel but is connected directly to the hotel main reception.
Negatives:
Parking rather expensive ($30 per day), the sofa bed uncomfortable, lots of noise from the street and from the vending machine on 3rd floor. A room at a higher floor would be better.

The bed was comfortable. The location was easy to access the tourist sites we wanted to see.
Luggage storage was helpful on our final day..
Negatives:
The hotel didn’t have the king sized suite that we had booked and paid for available. They didn’t tell us this until after we had finished the check in process and then told us they would put us in a queen sized suite. We had specifically booked a king size for the first few nights of the trip and after our flight and possible jet lag. The desk staff offered us either a free breakfast at the cafe in the hotel which we didn’t have a use for because we were going out for breakfast, or a free beaver tail which we don’t like. They had to check with the manager to make this change because they couldn’t give us free parking as we didn’t drive. It was very disappointing. They offered to get a king suite for our next night which we agreed to. The next morning the desk staff didn’t know about the offer, but when she learned of it we were told it would be better to re-pack and bring our bags to storage, and that they didn’t know when the room would be ready so we decided not to leave the queen suite until we had the king suite actually available. We had thought the staff could move our belongings from one room to the next which we had quickly stuffed back into the bags. We the went for a breakfast and a walk and we were called at 4 pm asking that we return to move our own bags or we would have to stay in the queen suite.
It was an unsatisfactory solution because we were already 5 km walk away from the hotel and heading farther away.
Overall incredibly dissatisfying stay and difficult to understand their offer of compensation for not having the bed we had booked.
Also, I had left behind a very specific foot/shoe orthotic in the room. I made several calls to the hotel and finally received a call back from lost and found 3 days after our departure that they had not found it.
