The lobbey was nice and staff extremely friendly, we also enjoyed the lake view from our room.
Negatives:
The room looked like it had not been cleaned recently, cobwebs in corners of the room, stains in the toilet bowl, tons of dust underneath the bed.

Really nice location on the lake, unfortunately cleanliness was not up to standard for the cost.

The location was beautiful and lake access beautiful , easily able to use kayaks, property was beautiful lots of nice seating areas

Check in is 4pm and then checkout is 11am and they ask you to leave the property at that time. The resort was completely empty and said that we couldn’t spend the day there for taking the sand. Seemed like a big waste to have such a beautiful
location and not able to use the facilities
Breakfast was not good, much too expensive for the food quality
Room was lake view not left something to be desired as it really faced onto an outdoor patio

our room did not have a patio door to a deck like others did. our window opened onto a shared deck where people liked to congregate. We had no privacy if the blinds were open and our view of the lake was obstructed by the shared deck area.

Too expensive for dated hotel but amenities like free kayaks and canoes, lawn games, sauna (indoor and outdoor) were nice to have. Breakfast was pretty bad don't eat there.

First, Our room was full of mosquitos and other insects.
Second, the back patio lock was broken and a piece of wood was placed to hold the door locked.
Third, pool water had mold growth in it and the water was all dark.
I requested to change my room for which the receptionist said that they don’t have any other room available.
We checked-out of this property after just 2 hours of check-in. It was my wedding anniversary and we ended up driving back to Toronto. And funny thing is that the hotel still charged us full two nights stay plus the resort fee. For 2 hours it costs us more than $500.

This placed needs a lot of cleaning and some bug spray

It felt like we were stepping back into the 1800s. Beautiful surroundings and the building is charming.
Negatives:
The shower head in our room was very tricky to find the sweet spot where there was still enough pressure, and yet warm.
Not very sound proof and the map of the building was very unprofessional and so tiny we couldn't decipher it.
