Sent message when booked for a ground floor room if possible, no answer. Was given a ground floor room after I asked when we arrived, was charged $10 extra for the ground floor and the hotel was not anywhere close to full.

The breakfast had a variety of choices. It was fresh and the eggs, sausages and home fries were hot and tasty. The lady in charge was pleasant and helpful. It was only her second day at work but she was very efficient and wet out of her way to make us feel comfortable

We drove from Ottawa for a funeral at 1PM. The normal check in time is 3>PM . and we had to change clothes for the funeral. We asked if we could use the main floor washsroom to change, but to our suprise the hotel accomodated us and our room was ready at noon. Wonderful.Very courteous and accomodating staff.
