Comfort Inn St Catharines

Negatives: Dated and overpriced for what you get. I was told the deposit is $300 which is the highest from all the hotels I've stayed at. Booking.com rooms cost an extra $15 if you want to be on the main level. Washer and Dryer costs $8 Total but I didn't use the washer as it smelled bad to me.

Negatives: In hindsight I should NOT have stayed here. First of all, I booked a "pay at property" and "cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival" through Booking.com on May 26 for arrival on June 12. When I checked my visa on May 30, I noticed that the amount was charged already (not pending or on hold) so I called visa and they confirmed that Comfort Inn charged the amount. I then called C. Inn to complain about this and I was told that the promotion they are running is "pay now non-refundable" and their system is showing that my booking is such and blamed the error on B.com. I emailed B.com and got only got an "auto-reply" but never heard from them. Eventually after my second call to CI (B.com still showing pay at property, free cancellation at least until June 2) they at least said they will honor my cancellation and will refund my money if I decide to cancel. I decided to stay instead of waiting for a refund that I know will take days. Unfortunately, when I checked out on June 14, I forgot to collect pieces of clothing that I left hanging on the back door hanger in the washroom. We left at 10am and not realized this until 7pm and called C. Inn right away. I made at least 3 more phone calls after that onto the next day (Sunday) but all I got from C. Inn is that they don't have the items in their lost and found, nobody has turned them in, can't find them, etc. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT People or Housekeeping Staff or even Clientele in this establishment would take interest in my worn clothing and not have the kindness and do the right thing of turning them in. I left a pair of Banana Republic jeans, a Banana Republic white cotton top and black bra - all fairly new but worn all day on that Thurs when I checked in. I am very upset at this and keep thinking what kind of people this place attracts who would take other people's stuff. It was a stay that started Bad and ended Bad.

Negatives: Kids running up and down hall at night & my room was not looked at for 3 days.

Negatives: No elevator , very hot inside Check in - one computer is not enough Check out- horrible - waited a long time for the woman to go check my room for the deposit to be returned for me.

Negatives: Price for Saturday a bit high

Negatives: The pillows are the size of throw pillows, not the most comfortable honestly.

Negatives: A box of tissues would be nice.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: On site breakfast would be a great addition.
