I had prepaid for two weeks on an insurance claim for my Children due to our home being deemed unliveable and it wasn’t until we arrived at the hotel to check in the evening of that we were told they do not accept local bookings, even though we were a special circumstance due to having no home at the time, and they would not make an exception or work with us at all, leaving us scrambling to find another place to stay for the evening at 8pm at night.
We could not find anything in the area and were without a place that evening.
Then I had to contact booking.com to process for our money back and everything became more of a struggle because I needed the money in order to be able to book at another hotel and had to wait for it to be refunded days later.
Another hotel took compassion and accommodated me the next day and ongoing with special rate reduction and great customer service.

Location. Friendly staff.

No toilet paper in room. Had half a roll on dispenser when we came in with no spare roll. Had to ask a roll at front desk the next day. You would think they would’ve told the cleaning staff to put some in, but no. Finished the weekend with that one roll for three adults.

Breakfast was delicious and the room was so pleasant and cozy. We were really surprised and delighted by just how nice the room was - to the extent that we're trying to think up reasons to go to Sudbury again in the near future just to stay again. ;)

A Lovely if Brief Stay
Positives:
The staff was so helpful and the lovely woman at the front desk help accommodate me to change my room to a floor level as I am disabled. I didn't realize the hotel didn't have an elevator. It does state on the website but I didn't see it. She was able to exchange our room with a gentleman registering at the same time.

Room was very clean, front desk staff was so friendly, breakfast was so good and the server kept refilling the food. Good location which is so close to the mall. Only I find which I don't like was the shower curtain which was a bit smelly but it was not a big deal. We have a very pleasant stay!

The evening staff was not very friendly. They were efficient but not welcoming.

The last time we had stayed at a Comfort Inn it was super clean but this time it could have been cleaner. The floors were filthy. The price did not reflect the quality of the room. We loved the location but would not stay there again.

The location was perfect for our event, and the staff were excellent. Very comfortable room.

Breakfast on Monday (our last morning) around 8:30 a.m. - not much left to eat. They were out of almost everything. I think they needed more than one person to cook and keep food stocked.
