Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Prompt communication, clean room, comfy bed, nice facility, key card worked, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet selection, the king suite had a kitchenette, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine (even creamers), hair dryer, toiletries, etc.
Negatives:
Would be nice to have bottled water in the fridge. There was some outside traffic noise from the road.

The place is truly not a hotel, the facilities are old and staff was extremely rude, the rooms are dirty hallways are outdated, pay for parking! They don’t allow early check in unless you pay!!

There is nothing to like it.

The guy over the reception was unwelcoming. He did not find my reservation. Later, he found it. It was a two rooms site with two bathrooms and a living room. One of the bathrooms was terrible as the flush of the commomde was not working. All the waste water was coming upward instead of going down. It had clogging inside. Then over head shower was not working properly. My guests were in great difficulties during their stay at night. When complaint, though assured to fix the bathroom problem or change another room, they did not do that. By the way, breafast was very poor. Unfortunately, it was a biitter experience staying one night in Sonesta in Markham, Toronto.
