Check in staff were excellent. Location is perfect and easy to get to from the airport. The bath in the shower was over the top!
Negatives:
While they set up the room with a mini kitchen, there is no sink or kettle or dishes. The room has been spruced up since it was a Holiday Inn before but it's just shy of being really wow. Did not like that when I requested an invoice upon check out I was told they could not do it and that I had to press the point.

Coffee service and wine service in lobby were nice. The location was also perfect!

My room had a significant drip in the shower, which kept me from sleeping well. The sink had a very slow drain; the shower tiles along the bottom wall weren’t clean. I’ve been a Kimpton customer for a long time, and have always had rooms that appeared maintained. This Kimpton is in no way a “luxury” hotel, as advertised. Also it would have been nice to have coffee in the room—even Hilton offers that.
