Negatives:
Run down, tired, poorly maintained, strange smells, dirty elevators, broken equipment. Old apartments not fixed up beyond a very rough coat of white paint on everything.
But unlike other reviewers, I found cleaning staff did their best in the room - things looked depressing, but had been cleaned as thoroughly as possible. Some of the bathroom towels smelled though.

Positives:
This place is great. Helpful staff at the reception, absolutely huge apartment (bedroom, living + kitchen, entrance and bathroom) with lots of storage option if your party is large. My stay was really comfortable. There are a few convenience stores on the other side of the road if you need anything, and a few supermarket down the street, maybe 15 minutes walking distance. The metro station is 5 minutes away. Added plus - I stayed at a high floor facing east, so sunrise was just glorious.
Negatives:
The in-room heating/air conditioning unit is very noisy so just bear that in mind if you want to switch it on at night; and it's a pity it is not possible to open the window on the balcony, as the pictures you can take at sunrise and sunset are absolutely fantastic (I had to shoot through the window and it's not just the same). There is no breakfast room, but with a fully furnished kitchen you can buy groceries and cook it yourself if you want.

i've stayed many times. the location is great for my needs.
Negatives:
i had prepaid, at check-in a small security deposit was required. i presented crediot card and it was declined. i offered to pay cash equal to deposit. NO does not task cash. i asked if i could finish checkin go to room. leave cash deposit, for now, would call credit card company from room, sort out and return. Again NO. as i had stayed a number of times i thought this was silly. was travelling most of the day, was tired. i asked for manager - a blank look an unwillingness to my request. said i could call credit card co from lobby. and that is what i did. 30 40 wait to speak to someone - card unlocked. finished check in.
