Positives: piano playing in lobby design and ambiance of hotel location is good-central a lot of disabled parking available pool, sauna and gym amenities
Negatives: hotel management seems to lack diligence with inspections of room cleanliness staff does not pay attention to guest concerns at check out. was completely ignored and asked only if we want bill emailed or printed. Better cooks are needed at restaurant to properly execute food dishes. over iced and watered down drinks. Our detailed review is on hotels website and on restaurants website.

Positives: The hotel was clean BUT the staff made it great. Very very personable and professional at all times. Breakfast was terrific...had Starbucks coffee and Belgian waffles that were delicious. The shower was the best...very nicely designed, plenty of hot water and superb water pressure.
Negatives: There was NO wifi nor INTERNET for the 24 hours I was there...TV was out. Carpet had holes in it making it feel like an old hotel that Marriott bought out and never fixed the carpets. Rooms were noisy - doors SLAMMED shut all night long. There were NO cables to charge up a new cell phone. The cables that were in the room were grossly inadequate and antique (LOL). And to top this off, this hotel actually made me pay for HANDICAP parking. Unreal. You can find a lot better prices in other hotels if you look around. Pass on this one.

Positives: In general, our stay was good. It is a great location in uptown Waterloo, close to many restaurants and local stores.
Negatives: Post-service was lacking big time. It took 1 week for staff to provide me with the invoice for our stay. Four days after the initial request I received parking invoice. When I insisted on receiving an actual invoice for the stay, staff made a very absurd excuse and provided correct invoice few days later without any apologies for the initial mistake. I found this whole situation highly unprofessional for the level of this particular hotel, being part of Marriott chain.
