Pool was cold. Booking.com said there was a hot tub but it had been removed. Heat radiator was noisy n microwave didn't work. Renovations were happening.

The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating.
Negatives:
We weren't notified that the pool was out of order, due to renovations. We were looking forward to a relaxing swim. Also, the pillows in the room leave a lot to be desired. They tend to flatten down to nothing. We also found the mattress very uncomfortable.

Apparently because I “booked through a third party”, there was no notification that they closed their pool and hot tub for renovations a week before my stay. Yet they were able to send a welcome email in advance of my stay… so why not include this info in that email? The pool/hot tub was the entire reason I chose this hotel for my autistic son. They were not sympathetic and would not allow me last minute cancellation.
