This hotel was affordable and the room was clean.

There a lot of other very loud guests returning to their rooms between 2-230am making it very hard for my family to get a good night of sleep. Neighborhood seemed questionable.
Positives:
1. Cleanliness for sure. Everywhere was very clean. 2. The possibility of using the breakfast area to also have our dinner there (which was purchased separately from a restaurant nearby) while enjoying the view of downtown Detroit.
Negatives:
Breakfast: while the breakfast was good, but it was literally the EXACT same everyday, with NO possible options for vegans. If I stayed there for a week (as example), I would be totally bored having the exact same things for breakfast. Needs varie

The friendly staff, always in a good mood and always helpful. The location and the view from the window is breathtaking!!! There were two rooms, two baths. Breakfast was tasty, many several meals. Warm scrambled eggs, different sausages fresh fruit and juices. Parking at the hotel is affordable. We could check in an hour earlier.

Definitely get a view room, view is stunning day and night
Positives:
Location was awesome, view was amazing, beds were comfortable, staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast in the morning was outstanding
Negatives:
Lack of parking, the window to look out at the amazing view of the Detroit river and the city of Detroit was very dirty and had a brown substance smeared on the window. Looked like it was just missed by the cleaning staff because the rest of the room was spotless.

Room was modern and clean. Comfortable beds. Immaculate and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty - better than other chains in this category.
Negatives:
Was the hotel that busy that a river view room wasn't available? It didn't seem to be - was a quiet Sunday night. Only saw a few at breakfast next morning. Shame that you have to pay extra for parking since the room rate is already not cheap. Pool was tiny - didn't bother going in.
