It was the perfect get away for me and my young son, great to visit family in the area, very accommodating and comfortable. We loved the game room and breakfast, and the front desk staff were lovely and welcoming.

The floors were dirty in our room and in the pool, could use some elbow grease!

My kids like the pool and water slide. Also the March break events that were on. The room in the main building was great.

The room (161) which is a drive up was not what or where we expected. Originally you had responded you could meet our needs of keeping the rooms close but was not the case whatsoever. The room smelled like it had been shut up for years. It was that musty we had to spend about $30.00 on candles and air fresheners to make it acceptable and the windows don’t even open at all! It was windy and the trees behind kept tapping on the building keeping us awake. The door down at the bottom corner does not seal at all and is open to wind, rain, and sound. As well for the price of rooms these days you would think smart tvs would be the norm especially when the tv programming provided is definitely not adequate. We went out a bought a Roku stick so we could watch a movie and get programs suitable for a toddler. That was a cost of almost $80.00 only to have the internet drop out on us several times leaving us very frustrated. Possibly the people who set the prices and conditions should stay in those rooms for a couple nights to get the full experience. We made it acceptable but we were expecting more from Rodd’s for sure. I am not trying to sound like a complainer but thought you should know. Thanks in advance for reading this and possibly replying. I would probably stay in the main building but not in the drive up in the future.
