Holiday Inn & Suites Montreal Airport

Negatives: I booked it online for “tonight” but the booking was somehow booked for the following night, which I didn’t want. They would not honour my booking nor accept the change of date that I requested through booking. I paid for a night and got nothing for it. They made me pay for another full night for a more expensive room and could have cared less that I was out the cost of the room .

Negatives: upon arrival, we were checked into a room. There was either not cleaned, or still occupied. Upon return to the reception desk, we were greeted by an unhappy manager, given another room of lower quality, and charged more than our original booking. Our original room was a suite with deep tub and shower, and we were given a standard suite with no deep tub. Secondly, there were no blackout blinds in our room. We faced the Montreal airport, and had absolutely ridiculous amount of light in the room all night. I have never been in a hotel that didn’t have blinds to block out the window. It was very very disappointing. This morning, before leaving, we wanted to have a swim and use the hot tub/sauna facilities. The pool was particularly cold, the hot tub wasn’t hot, and both were not particularly clean.

Negatives: Bed bugs bites Broken shower

Negatives: booked a room for 4, on arrival only a main bed set up. had to make sofa bed on our own, reception provided 2 pillows and bed linen only. Towels only for 2, late check out available only until 3 pm sauna and jacuzzi did not work, restaurant closed. after breakfast until 5.30 pm. the suite with balcony was not ready for the occupancy for 4. balcony is positioned in the centre of the main hall and all the other room guests could see us as it was placed at the end of the hall, too pricey for having to make our own beds and ask for everything else, going up and down. suite on the motorway side, noise constant ad not double glazed

Negatives: Missing several things in the room and was not aware until we needed the item at which point made it inconvenient to wait for it to be brought to us. Black out curtains were missing. Also the front desk said that booking from a third party makes it difficult for them to offer a discount. Not sure why as I paid the hotel directly.

Negatives: The mattress on the pull out couch and the extra bed were extremely uncomfortable. There weren’t enough linens or pillows provided. We found a bug in one of the beds on the first night. The room was never cleaned or stocked up the entire time we were there even though we did put the sign in the door. It was also very difficult to find what was included in the kitchen part of the room on the website. That would have been helpful

Negatives: Good proximity to the airport, but the area is definitely not walkable, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone wanting to go for a walk, run, etc. The room itself was fine and seemed clean, although the pillows were soft and did not seem as fresh as I would have liked.

Negatives: I need to pay an extra very expensive fee for leaving my car in the parking during my vacations, even I stayed 2 nights prior to and after my flights.
