The elevator is very old and takes forever

There were always people hanging out in the lobby and just outside smoking. I wasnt sure what was going on but it made feel like I was staying where people were living versus staying in a hotel. Its uncomfortable to come back to the hotel after sightseeing and getting a complete stare down by unfriendly people.

There was a fight outside when we arrived, appeared like it was people that actually live at the hotel full time multiple police arrived. Wasnt a great welcome to Montreal moment
