The first person we dealt with at check in was very nice.

When the rest of my family arrived to check
In the person on the desk was rude. We were trying to understand why our rooms were not together, on complete different floors, even though they had been booked together weeks in advance. In the middle of checking my sister in the staff took a phone call and proceeded to talk on the phone, while we stood their waiting after a very long day of driving, for over 5 minutes. The complimentary breakfast was gone by 9am, not even coffee, and no one was re-stocking anything. Overall, definitely not worth the money, very disappointing.

Buffet breakfast was included even though this hadn't been shown on booking.com which was an unexpected bonus. Pet friendly room on ground-floor... The "balcony" on our room was just a door which gave direct access to the lawn outside which was useful for quickly taking the dog out. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool for burning off some energy after being in the car all day.

Hotel was on a main road in a commercial area outside the town centre... fine for a stopover though.

Breakfast was good....well located to go the concert we planned for with a shuttle to go there... there was a small pool and whirlpool
Negatives:
There was plastics of bottle on the floor... the bath didn't seem so clean... there was no shampoo in the room and no bathrobes (to go to the pool.)
