Location was convenient for other activities. In hotel restaurant (Aroma) had delicious and reasonably priced food).
Negatives:
Bed was firm and not as comfortable as other hotels we stayed at during our extended stay in the city. Bathroom was very small compared to other hotels.
Everytime the AC unit turned on, the power would pulse and AC unit would emit a "snapping" sound. AC unit was LOUD but it moved a lot of cold air so no complaints.
The TV system is a joke. Half the channels didn't work and the system is so incredibly laggy that you'd have to pause 5 seconds after every remote button push to wait for the tv to catch up to what you're wanting to do. Every time the AC unit turned on, you'd have to adjust the volume on the tv quite a bit, the AC was very loud, haha.
The above issues were small, but our biggest gripe: the room was not very soundproof. We could hear all hallway traffic from inside our room (laughing, talking, yelling, running, pounding on doors, vomiting, etc) and every time the neighboring room's main door closed, it would shake the wall of our room and emit a loud "thud" (as the door hydraulic hinge assembly unloaded?). We were on 17th floor and could hear a nearby DJ/street party all night. I have no I'll regard for DJ or street parties... I just figured the room would be more sound proof. Neighbor's seemed to have left for the night and left their dogs in the room (kennel?) so we had a great night of dogs barking/howling. I spoke with a hotel staff member and they said they would try and address but never heard anything further until morning. The next morning when checking out, we received an apology from front desk that the hotel was overbooked so they had to put us on 17th floor ("pet friendly" floor) because they didn't have any other rooms available. An apology wasn't much of a consolation for the lack of sleep but at that point we just wanted to check out and move on with our weekend.
$$$ Paid parking and miscellaneous hotel taxes/fees made this stay very low value for us.
