I was charged online for my room and then when I got to the hotel I was told I needed to pay more money in order to check in. I did not have a choice I needed a room. When I questioned why I had to pay an additional fee the very young front desk clerk said we don’t have that room you booked available so you have to pay more money. I contactedbooking.com because that is who I rented the room through And try to get this handled, I was then told I needed to call the hotel directly so when I did, they were super rude to me telling me that I went through a third-party so my reservation was not guaranteed and that you are essentially throwing your money away And that they can keep your money not give you a hotel room and there’s nothing you can do about it. They also told me that yes they can charge more money at the hotel for a room, and that third-party reservation should never be used even though you get a room cheaper and the hotel does not price match for the online prices. After contacting the property directly to ask them about this charge, the hotel manager proceeds to tell me that I should’ve contacted him first I never should’ve called booking.com, or the corporate office at American extended stay that I was rude hateful stupid and I had no right to be upset And that I never should’ve booked through a third-party and he didn’t care if it saved me money. I honestly want my money back for the way that I was treated by the hotel property, not just the additional charge I had to pay, but I won’t my entire hotel stay given back to me. That was a waste of time and money on my part

Staff was EXCEPTIONALLY Accommodating, Kind, Understanding, Flexible and Professional. Rooms were ok, bathrooms needed a bit more cleaning, Supplies such as Towels and Wash clothes needed to be replaced more as far as newer look(Wash clothes had the many of use look), no cookware but kitchen/stove and oven available. No staff in the morning to ask for plastic ware as we bought our own bowls and etc.
