The area had the appearance of quiet, though this was not true in fact, due to poor noise insulation.
Negatives:
The woman at the front desk made a point of telling me, in a slightly veiled way, that I was only staying a single night, and would thus be placed in an inferior room. She, was a slightly portly woman, who identified herself as being from Michigan. Every room that I was shown was infested with mold to some degree or another, and none were the room type that I booked.

The microwave didnt work and the a/c unit made noise.

Parking is free but no room to walk dogs. No grassy areas and no small dog area despite the large $75 per pet per night.
Negatives:
Room tables were not clean and had drink stains on them, microwave didn't work which we paid extra for, they gave us a double bed instead of a king bed, per fee is $75 and there is no where to walk your dog as it's on the busiest hwy in Alabama.

Some of the staff were incredibly rude when we went to the front desk to ask for extra towels. They were talking with (I’m assuming) another employee, rolled their eyes when we asked, didn’t acknowledge us aside from asking how many extra towels we wanted, and then placed them on the desk and turned away from us immediately

Nice place, less than nice...
Positives:
The linens were fine on the bed. The room size was good, furnishings were ok. Getting in and out of the room was fine. Parking was good, they had luggage carts on good condition.
Negatives:
We were traveling with pets for the first time. The room they put us in smelled like cigarette smoke. Not other pets... smoke. Bed was not that comfortable.
