I'm accustomed to Super-8 motels of old, and as a result, I haven't stayed in one in decades! Saw this highly recommended Super-8 hotel, and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Surprisingly clean, with one exception. A small, dedicated and very welcoming staff. Truly "Pet Friendly", with only a small attached fee. A decent breakfast, tho the coffee had run out both days I was there; Staff immediately rectified that as soon as someone asked, but... a result of short staffing, I would think. And truly, stuff like that doesn't bother me, if everything else is working. The place worked for me.
Negatives:
Ah, that cleanliness thing. Our room had an ancient piece of carpeting that wouldn't surprise me if it's been there forever. I can't speak for a cleaning but I'll bet you this one hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.
C'mon, folks, you're not booked out.Take a room offline and Clean. The. Carpet! Oh, yeah... the carpet in the upstairs hallways needs some work, too.
To my fellow traveler: Enjoy this gem. And wear your socks.
