Staffing short so when I after flying in to Montgomery and driving an hour to Troy for a family reunion the rooms werent clean so there was a wait before you could check in. I was already late for the reunion and not being familiar with the area it was very frustrating. The still having to pay $460 for two nights I just dont think it was worth it but, those are the cards I was dealt. But if staffing is short those are the cards they were dealt.. But the young lady did everything she could and she was very nice.

Pet friendly room near the campus was key. Despite booking through booking.com, the staff was totally cool with just adding the charge since we changed plans at the last minute to include our pet.
Negatives:
I hate to complain, but the elevator is having issues. On two occasions, the door failed to close the first time. It worked, but I will admit that it made me a little nervous. Also, the shower in room 304 was less than hot (my shower at 1030 was actually close to cold).

AC unit wouldn't shut off and thermostat wasn't wolrking properly. Had to keep switching from heat to ac and back. Had lovely canisters of soap, conditioner, and body wash. Got in shower. Not a drop of body wash. Pillows are totally flat and not comfortable (but bed was good).
