Hotel was in close proximity to the event we were in town for,

Very noisy, some noise due to location to interstate, but the internal noise from AC unit in room was very frustrating. Staff seemed to not be concerned about this. Also, no coffee in the lobby after 10 am, you have to go to the restaurant to purchase.
The restaurant, being independent of the hotel, we were told, used wood for cooking, great flavor of the meats but the smell walking into the hotel lobby was overbearing at times,

The lobby doors were closed after 11pm and the staff did not answer the phone so I could check in. I had to knock loudly on the door and finally someone came.
