The King Deluxe rooms are very comfortable. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Breakfast is a good start to our day when we have to get back on the road. This is where we always stay when we travel between Texas and California.

Always a nice visit, we have stayed here a few times. it is our go to place in Holbrook. it's clean and comfortable. The breakfast has some nice choices, coffee is good!

Check in was relatively easy. Ice machines worked and room was fairly comfortable

I was amazed that when I took my bags to my room and noticed that the side door was wedged open with a stone. I removed this stone. This was around 4pm. The door was not an entry door and is located at the side of the hotel. Anyone can access the hotel from the street using this door and would not need to pass reception to access guest rooms. I was further amazed around 30 minutes later to find another stone wedging the door open - which I also removed. Later that evening after dark, I went out in my car and noticed a distressed man walking along the pavement with ripped shirt, gloves on and carrying something in his hand. I was distressed to return to my hotel to find the door wedged open - this time with a proper door wedge, which I duly removed. I explained my problem to reception who did not take any interest in my concerns about my safety or personal belongings and advised that the door was wedged open at request of guests - which I do not believe for a minute. I expect anyone that I might come across in a hotel corridor to have been subject to the same check in procedure as me i.e Identification and credit card details. I was even more upset to find the door wedged open again after I removed the wedge (for the 4th time) this time with a door mat. Thankfully I was leaving so did not speak to reception about this again. I have however written to the hotel twice now to request a refund as I did not sleep at all that night and my stay and next day was in effect, ruined - I have not received a response
