Positives: the property is nice just like any other Double Tree however my room had BEDBUGS
Negatives: after I found the bed bug in my bed and took pictures ab me videos of it and called the front desk they immediately changed my room but I had to cancel the rest of my trip to Chicago because I didn’t want to carry a bug and just wanted to go home to Tucson and make sure I get my things cleaned. in the morning I asked the front desk to give me a big trash bag to seal all my things from the hotel and asked to be reimbursed for the night I stayed in a bug infested room. The front desk very politely told me that I might have brought the bug with me and they will look into it! I told them, this is not a good approach to accuse the guest, and if treated this way then next time the guest can’t even report the bugs not to be accused. long story short, finally I was reimbursed for that one night I stayed but then he told me they are going to put me on a list presumably to next time I go to Hilton hotels I get a room they make sure downs have a bug. what?!! there’s a list for people who complain about bugs and they tell me it’s because those are people who should not have a bug next time?!! I think that list is for customers they have accused of bringing bugs into their rooms just pick another hotel.

Positives: The location was a good spot. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, it looked nice inside and out the building.
Negatives: It had rained the night and morning so when we woke up the carpet next to the window/ doors was wet and the curtains which smelled the room up.
