The outdoor space is great. The room has a fun ambience.
Negatives:
Check in is a bit wonky, even though I noted we were going to get in later, at 8:45. It took a while to find someone and took a long time to actually get our keys. Restaurant wasn't open and there's not much around. No one was hanging out, which was why I booked the hotel. Apparently I expected too much from a Monday. The room was fine, cute and kitschy but some things are not practical for this day in age, like the outlet boxes across the room from the bed and I thought it was odd there were only 2 room type options, king or bunk beds.

- The decor was eclectic and well done.
- I appreciated having a microwave and refrigerator.
- I appreciated being able to use a steamer.
- I liked the ball chair.
- The staff members were nice.
Negatives:
- The cost per night was around $330 during the Final Four. I thought it was a great deal at first, but all things considered, I would’ve paid more for another location.
- I can deal with loud music, but bass that shakes your bed when you’re laying in it is a bit extreme. The bass was a bit excessive for the size of the outdoor space. You can provide a social and cultural experience without the excessive bass. This was shared in numerous reviews for over a year, yet it appears the concerns have not been taken seriously.
- The floor and rugs were dirty.
- The flooring needed to be replaced as it was coming up in multiple places.
- Calling this a hotel is a bit misleading as it is a motel.
- We could hear people walking above.
- The towels and toilet paper were rough.
- The outlet locations were inconvenient.

Waited 30 mins just to check in. We paid for parking in order to have a guaranteed parking spot but b went to dinner and came home at 8:30p only to find no parking. Had to wait 20 mins for the staff to move their truck so we could park.

Excellent location for downtown Phoenix. Eclectic vibe - 50s retro decor. Great bar with fire pits outside and good restaurant. Upgraded my room for free.

A little noisy one night with music until midnight (but good music). Per night rate a little high.
