Positives:
The location is the best if you're going to Barrow Neurological Institute. That's why we stay here. The breakfast is pretty good, with good hours for access. Except for the scrambled eggs, which are scrambled so much, they're into tiny bits that fall off your fork.
Negatives:
Stayed here 2 or 3 times before. This was the worst experience we had. This time we were surprised when they wanted payment to park in their lot. Then it wasn't easy to accomplish, because it required QR code or an app. We managed it, even though we weren't happy about it when it had previously been free. What about people who still use flip-phones, or even don't have a mobile phone? Then our room must've been the last on the list for renovation. It was a disabled friendly (we didn't ask for that) room & the shower was difficult to figure out. The thermostat wasn't working very well. The window coverings couldn't be raised, so the room was gloomy all day. The seating was inadequate for 2 people. The bed wasn't terrible, but not as comfortable as the others we've had here. But we were still charged around $250/night. Finally the scrambled eggs for breakfast - it would be good to instruct the preparer that they shouldn't be constantly whipped, but more like regularly folding them over as they cook. I'm sorry I had all these complaints this time, because overall our prior stays have been very good.
