One of the best rooms...

A really nice hotel. There was some noise during the day from the airport but did not cause any issues whatsoever.
The ‘room’ was actually a three room suite. There was a lounge/dining/kitchen, a separate bathroom in the corridor from the lounge to the bedroom, and a bedroom with two beds.
The lounge was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette had a good size fridge, microwave, sink, coffee-maker and counter space. There was also a desk/table and chair for eating or working. A three seater settee and coffee table were also available. I especially liked that there were good lighting options. Mr lounge window looked out to the pool/garden.
The bathroom wasn’t huge but easily had enough room. It was well stocked and had a hairdryer.
The bedroom window looked onto the main road and part of the hotel car park. Noise from the road was minimal.
The pool area was lovely. Lots of sun-beds, and chairs under sun shades. I didn’t try the pool but it was clean and inviting.
I had the included breakfast twice. It was well stocked and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
Scottsdale Road was close so I had easy access to Scottsdale during my stay. There’s an up market shopping area nearby and a Five Guys (my first visit

Positives:
Nice clean room with sparkling white sheets, pillows, towels, etc. They also provided a Graco Pack n Play playpen for our baby. Delicious buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful any time we needed anything or had any questions. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The whole hotel has a very sensible layout, so even though it is big, it's easy to find your way around. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

My wife says breakfast was very good. Due to an event at Westworld, we asked for and received a late check-out. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, exceeded expectations for a hotel in Scottsdale that was half the price of most of the others.
Negatives:
Housekeeping didn't get the word, or says she didn't get the word, that we had received permission for late check-out. She made it clear she was not happy we were still in the room after 11:30.

When we first got there we were met with a great staff member that greeted and got us situated. Unfortunately when we got up to the room it was run down looking and could have used a really good vacuum. We were all tired so we decided not to do anything about it. When we used the bathroom the sink plug broke in the sink so we had to go down to the front desk and see if they could do anything. He scheduled maintenance for the next day. Went back up and went to bed and my husband awoke around four to something crawling on him when we turned the in light and found that we had bed bugs. Went down to the front desk where they moved us to another room. We looked over that room carefully and decided that we would stay. Went to do some things and came back to carbon monoxide detectors going off in the room went to the front desk where they told me to just remove the batteries. Pool was open but the water was cold and also the hot tub where the water was warmish.

There were so many children yelling and screaming throughout the property! Throwing footballs at at the doors of the other guest rooms. Screaming and yelling in the pool until late into the evening! Could not even listen to the television in the living area of the room It was so loud. I don’t mind children, but I do feel that the property could’ve done more to make sure the rest of the guest were not inconvenienced by them.
