Extended Stay America Suites - Phoenix - Scottsdale

Negatives: Walking in the "lobby" had boxes and to go cups and very random things scattered around. The staff was not friendly, seemed a little put out by having to help us. There was small bits of trash, hairball and such in the elevator and hallways. The hallway was poorly lit. The photos on booking.com were not at all what the rooms looked like. The room was gross. There was what looked to be mold and rust in the shower. There was old grease splatter on the side of the refrigerator. The microwave was chipped inside and rusty. The sofa bed/couch had the upper back corners torn up like a cat had ruined them. The floors were not carpet but had spill stains that dirt and hair were stuck to. Hairballs and dust all over rhe flooring. We were there about an hour and checked out, and got a hotel accross the street. They had offered another room but we had no confidence that it would be any better. We were all disgusted. It felt like a truck stop hotel at best. I wish I had taken photos but we were trying to get ready before our event started and we needed to move quickly to go somewhere else to do do.

Negatives: I made a reservation for 2 queen beds, but I o my got one.

Negatives: Everything was HORRID

Negatives: I went at 2am to check in, office was closed and no one answer the phone for late hours

Negatives: They had no rooms and reservation was made in advance.

Negatives: Room had used toilet paper on the clean towels ..mirror was foggy dirty...couch bed was super dusty and wasn't dusted ..sheets were dirty after I pulled them back to sleep ..I asked to move front desk said no rooms available to move ....

Negatives: Pool dirty. No coffee. Ran out at 8 am! Terrible mattress. Hot tub jets not working. Cheap soap. Had to ask for dishes. Requesting refund! Industrial location

Negatives: Only 1 staff on site. Understaffed. Front desk had responsibilities to check in people, wash dishes, clean rooms. Severely understaffed. Cheap decision on the part of management, that's said, the staff was really trying to be as good as possible, given that they were overworked

Negatives: Room not swept Whiskey in the fridge Bathroom and kitchen flooded we had to use a different rooms bathroom back and forth the whole night which was very uncomfortable don't get me wrong maintenance man was on it the next day but the issue still wasn't resolved when we used the bathroom it was bubbling up water still we constantly had to get towels after towels bc I didn't want my children walking in that beds were very hard had to ask for a few more pillows they said they had continental breakfast all they had was coffee hot water to make hot chocolate and nutrition bars and muffins that's all I left a few messages with the front desk for a manager to call me that never happened neighborhood was very nice and the front desk people were as well I didn't want to talk with them about how I felt or what was going but this place was definitely not worth my 440.00 I feel like I should've gotten discounted for how the room was with the bathroom problems but I wouldn't dare take it out on staff when they did try to fix it I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negatives: Clientele was horrible. This was like section 8 housing with drug addicts and prostitutes about 2 months from being on the streets. Clearly there is no smoking, but elevator and hallways always full of marijuana smoke. Prostyin the parking lot. Clientele were screaming and fighting with their partners like they were minutes from physical beatings. Police have front door reserved parking which I was curious why. Found out within 1.5hrs when 8 police cars were there arresting 2 people. That Scottsdale location is homes of $750k - $1million. Room was really worn out.
