The fan in the bathroom was not hooked up. The coffee maker only had one regular coffee pod and one decalf coffee pod.
We did go to the lobby for coffee so it wasn't a big deal.

everything! Walking distance to old town Scottsdale. Coffee available early morning. Breakfast available. Big patio for relaxing.

Parking charges daily. We were not told of any parking charges before checking in. We were charged $22 a day for parking the car. Unacceptable as where do you expect for people to park. Charging in just not right. I have never heard of a Hotel charging for parking.

Location is the only reason to book this hotel. The outdoor area is nice as well, but that's where the positives stop.
Negatives:
This is not indicative of the Hilton brand. Bar across the street will make your room pulse until 1AM. Toilet backed up constantly and needed a new flapper. AC unit was louder than a jet engine and a loud fan in the bathroom doesn't shut off. Towels smelled awful and the pillows were thin and lumpy and felt like they were 25 years old. Food on site was really bad and incredibly overpriced, even for Scottsdale. I don't understand the positive reviews and would never recommend this hotel.

Positives:
The staff at the breakfast buffet were really accommodating and friendly.
The housekeeping staff were also great and happy to assist with changing our bed late at night when our daughter was ill.
Negatives:
The staff at reception were very unhelpful and unfriendly. One of the ladies who we dealt with on a few occasions was rude and on one occasion actually sighed and threw her eyes up to heaven when we asked her a very basic about coffee.
They were extremely ill informed as to gluten free options available and most importantly what emergency healthcare options were available around the location when my daughter fell ill.
We requested our room to be serviced from reception on 2 occasions during our 5 night stay, neither times it was done.
In general the stay was really disappointing and far below our expectations in particular for a Hilton .
