Independence 47 Hotel

Negatives: no breakfast there, but McDonalds close by. It's probably because they have conferences to serve and so we were fine about it really.

Negatives: Rooms were a bit dated, the patio furniture as well as the walkways need a good power wshing.

Negatives: They charged my account and they charged the person i reserved the hotel for.

Negatives: We asked for blankets and pool towels. There wasn’t coffee in the room or continental breakfast. This didn’t hamper our experience.

Negatives: The room had only a sheet and a bed cover the same thickness of a sheet on the bed, no blankets at all. I know we are in Scottsdale but no blankets available?? The bed was very firm with 4 small throw pillows at the top. The ceiling in the bathroom was drooping due to water damage. There were cigarette burns on the bedding and in the carpet and lastly we couldn't shut the curtain for privacy. All night we had the sheer white shade covering the window and the curtain that isn't even meant to shut on the sides. We could see the white lights of the pool and there was no use to sleeping in past 730 as the sun was bright. The pool and hot tub were dirty with debris and the hot tub was warm but it was dark and the jets didn't work as well as a strange aquarium odor coming from it my 2 sons, one of which was just enjoying Medieval Times for his 9th birthday were uncomfortable going into the water, and when I tell you they usually don't care that means it was bad. For spending over $220 a night I will definitely be going somewhere else on my next trip and I hope someone who can fix some of these things receives this.

Negatives: I can say there is anything I didn’t like.

Negatives: There was no breakfast and we had to ask for blankets. There was coffee but it was terrible. The inside of the bathroom door was filthy.
