The facilities are in desperate need of updating and repair.
1. The elevator was being repaired so unavailable
2. The toilet made strange noises that continued after flushing
3. The sound on the TV was faulty...and with the staff being overwhelmed by angry, frustrated patrons, service was scarce.

Positives:
Staff (especially the free breakfast room and attendants) were wonderful. Front desk clerk was pleasant. I even met with the General Mgr. and he was responsive (--*see "What I Didn't Like" comments below).
Negatives:
All linens at the hotel were laundered in a very cheap, chemical-laden detergent which inflamed my skin. After the first of 4 nights, my skin itched terribly. After the second night I was unable to sleep, my skin broke out in red blotches and I was feeling literally sick (headaches, with slight dizzyness, etc.). I discussed this with the GM, who stated that their laundering equipment automatically dispenses a corporate-bought detergent....and so they locally had no choice but to use this setup. I told him that I understood his situation, but that IHG Resorts REALLY had ought to review this: BAD for repeat business!!

For the most part it was quiet away from the Main Street
Negatives:
Strong chemical smell as you walked in gave us room where the carpet was soaking wet and the chemical smell was even stronger. $15 bucks a night for parking . Had to leave on an emergency call talked to front desk and instead of canceling the reservation I was charged the full amount . Checked in at 4:00 pm had to leave time was 7:30 pm and was told there was nothing they can do but charge for the full reservation.
