SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Tempe University

Negatives: When we arrived at our room, there was half eaten food on the refrigerator from previous occupants. An electric wire hanging from below the bathroom cabinet next to the shower. The wires had exposed connections. When someone from maintenance arrived, he tucked the wires up under the cabinet to hide them. There was no junction box. The sliding bathroom door jammed on the floor and it was difficult to open or close. We were moved to a different room, on the other side of the hotel. The elevator was broken, we dragged our bags down to the 1st floor, then across the grounds to a different building and up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Our new room. was a suite, the room telephone had no dial tone, I had to call the front desk from my own phone to report that the TV did not work and wasn't informed until then that there was also no WiFi. We witnessed people being evicted by the hotel staff and one man threw a punch at one of the staff. It was frightening and a horrible experience. That night we hardly slept as the noise from the room above us was loud until the early hours.

Negatives: Multiple objects in the room were broken. I hope I don't get charged for that. The door almost couldn't be opened, the bathtub faucet handle broke, the stopper to hold water for baths also broke, air conditioner vents were broken, hand washing sink had a broken stopper, toilet paper holder was hanging out of the wall. Homeless people sometimes post up and talk right outside of your door.

Negatives: Pool area was not clean little area was not clean and there was no time there had to ask for them. I did take pictures.
