staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable.

The blow dryer was an electrical hazard, sparked and smell of burnt wires. Reported this to front desk and Mgr. But this appears to be an old problem, as the blow dryer upon entry into the room was not plugged into wall outlet. We did go to the front desk to get a blow dryer, but none were on hand.
Because of the blow dryer in the room was left unconnected/unplugged to the outlet with the cord just hanging, tells me this is a known problem without resolution. This is a health and safety issue for the building and more so for the guests staying in this facility, in the event of a fire due to this faulty appliance.
This needs immediate attention.

The stay was nice, except...
Positives:
Check in smooth, I requested quiet side of motel, it was quiet. it was a big room with spars decor. Could be a bit warmer in it's appearance.
Negatives:
I did not see anything to eat for breakfast. I do not eat carbs, that's all there was. I suggest, boiled eggs, cheese sticks, nuts. Real fruit.

Floor in room was terribly dirty! Very poor paint job in rooms, bath/shower condition was dirty and worn. Breakfast was very sub par. Well stay at a nicer hotel across the street next time!

Clean room, comfortable bed, less expensive than surrounding properties, good location, friendly staff.
Negatives:
Pool not heated - 30 degree temperature difference between air and water was quite bracing. Spa surface is extremely rough and will destroy your swimsuit should you attempt to sit. Hot portion of breakfast was mediocre at best. Poor water quantity in shower.
